Job summary

Caledonia Community Schools Athletics Department is seeking a Swim Coach - Middle School Girls Assistant Coach for the Duncan Lake Middle School program. The role involves coaching, conditioning, safety, and game management responsibilities for a temporary one-year assignment during the 2026-2027 season.

The coach reports to the Assistant Athletic Director and will work with staff to ensure academic eligibility and athletic participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful coaching experience at the high school level or college coaching/playing experience is essential.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for athletes on rules and skills, conditioning, injury prevention, and coaching.
• Assist in scheduling transportation to tournaments and events.
• Prepare for practices and games and manage facilities usage and timetables.
• Maintain communication with players and parents regarding team matters.
• Monitor academic eligibility and coordinate with teachers to support student-athletes.
