Job summary

Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) seeks a Medical Coordinator in Locust Valley and Amityville, NY to coordinate medical and psychiatric services for adults with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve personal outcomes.

You will schedule routine, follow-up, and emergency care, ensure documentation, manage medication inventory, and support information flow with healthcare providers. Travel between FREE locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing services to individuals with disabilities.
• AMAP certification required or to be obtained within 120 days.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proficient writing and grammar skills.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical and psychiatric services for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Schedule routine, follow-up and emergency medical care.
• Ensure appointment logistics and necessary documentation.
• Maintain medication inventory and appropriate filing systems.
• Operate and coordinate information flow with healthcare providers and agencies.
• Support all required safety and confidentiality policies.
