Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification from a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clinical experience in an ambulatory setting.
• CPR certification.
• Experience with medical office procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient intake and prepare patients for visits.
• Assist medical providers during examinations.
• Perform waived tests and basic clinical tasks.
• Stock supplies and perform cleaning per infection control protocols.
• Schedule internal and external appointments.
• Handle release of information, faxing, scanning, copying and filing.
• Process referrals and track referral status.
