Job summary

Shifts are Mon/Wed/Thu 3:00 PM–5:00 PM, totaling 9–12 hours per week, with potential for 12+ hours via additional virtual or in-person hours. Competitive hourly pay of $23–$25.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer.
• Must meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for the position.
• Provide three professional references.
• Minimum of sixty college credits.
• At least one year of student-related experience.
• Detail-oriented and highly dependable.
• Effective communicator.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted instruction in math to support middle school students.
• Provide small-group tutoring using provided curriculum, evidence-based strategies, and educational technology.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and academic needs.
• Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.
