Job summary

Saginaw Covenant Academy is seeking a Full-Time High School Math Teacher. A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement is required.

The school serves students aged 15–22 in a year-round alternative high school setting, focusing on personalized learning and flexible pathways to graduation. Teachers act as mentors and support students toward academic goals, differentiating instruction and using data to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and teaching certification with a Mathematics Endorsement (EX) required.
• Must possess strong classroom management and use of technology in education.
• Experience mentoring diverse at-risk youth is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging math instruction to high school students.
• Differentiate instruction based on data-driven mastery.
• Maintain accurate gradebooks, lesson plans and attendance.
• Engage with students to build trust and support their growth.
• Collaborate with staff and leaders to meet program goals.
