Job summary

LCS (Life Care Services) invites students to join its Marketing and Sales Systems Internship, a full-time 12-week program running May through August in Des Moines, IA. Interns will work on real organizational projects, collaborate across departments, and present outcomes to senior leadership.

The program emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and broad exposure to the company’s operations within the marketing and sales functions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Minimum of 2 years completed towards bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business or related field.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
• Ability to apply AI to enable, augment and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization.
• Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments.
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
• Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship.
• Gain a broad understanding of our industry and business operations and processes through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities.
• Develop business case for assignment clearly stating the business value, resources needed and key milestones for project.
• Work closely with manager on weekly updates against key milestones.
• Develop rollout plan with IT and business users.
• Reconcile the success of the project against original business case.
