Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist (per diem) in Needham to perform a range of mammography and breast imaging procedures under physician orders. You will work with a team of radiologists, nurses and technicians in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring accuracy, patient safety and quality imaging.

The role requires rad tech licensure, BLS certification, and 0–1 year of experience with MS Office and health information systems.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Licensure: RAML-Mammography or Radiography Mam/CT registration; ARRT certs.
• BLS certification required.
• 0–1 year related experience.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines and protocols in Mammography/Breast Imaging.
• Schedules and documents exams and maintains accurate records.
• Performs quality control on equipment.
• Verifies patient identifiers and orders.
• Adheres to radiation safety regulations.
• Maintains documentation for licenses and certifications.
• Collaborates with Mammography Section Supervisor to ensure image quality and patient satisfaction.
• Manages PACS exams and status updates.
