Job summary

Haven Behavioral Healthcare, an Oceans Healthcare Company, seeks a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse to provide nursing care in our behavioral health unit, under RN supervision and according to the multidisciplinary treatment plan.

Responsibilities include documenting care, administering medications safely, performing bedside procedures, and supporting patient coping. Active LVN/LPN license and CPR/de-escalation training are required; inpatient hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN/LPN license in the state of employment.
• Compact licenses are acceptable as they apply.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Documents findings and communicates with care team.
• Administers medications safely per orders and policies.
• Performs bedside labs, wound care, and assists with ADLs.
• Supports coping and culturally appropriate care.
• Precepts and mentors new staff; supports team projects.
