Daily substitute rates are $125.00 per day if not licensed, $135.00 per day if licensed; long-term rate $205.00 per day. Qualified candidates must be endorsed to teach the subject or be eligible for a license.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must be endorsed to teach the subject at the school level or be eligible for a teaching license in the subject area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students.
• Supervise students in a variety of school related settings.
• Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
• Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff and community.
• Develop, select and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain records and follow required procedures and practices.
