Job summary

Danaher’s DBS unit seeks a Software Verification Specialist to ensure products meet exit criteria. You will leverage your LC-MS/MS background to plan and conduct verification within an agile team, driving quality across software products.

The role includes eliciting and documenting software requirements, use cases, and specifications, reporting to the Software Development and Verification Manager, and being on-site in Concord, Canada.

Qualifications

• College Dip. / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biochemistry
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in LC-MS/MS
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in software development and testing
• Experience/knowledge of agile software development processes is an asset
• Hands‑on experience with both Desktop and Cloud software development and testing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify that our software products fully meet requirements
• Plan software verification in accordance with project scope and software requirements
• Clearly document and communicate issues found during testing to facilitate corrective action by developers and/or designers.
• Create, maintain and execute manual and automation test cases
• Review and help elucidate software requirements
