Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Job Coach to provide on-the-job coaching for participants in our Supported Employment program. You will help participants develop job skills and integrate them into the workforce at business sites.

Essential duties include coaching, documenting progress, and coordinating with site managers. A BA/BS is preferred, and one year of related experience is desired. Strong MS Office and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Education: BA or BS degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year related experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: MS Office Suite and strong E-mail communication skills.
• Certificates & Licenses: First Aid & CPR certified; CA Driver's license and vehicle insurance; driving on company time.

Responsibilities

• Provides job coaching and promotes career development to improve skills, wages, and productivity.
• Promotes social integration between participants and employees with supervisors; monitors activity and progress.
• Provides personal and career counseling and behavioral intervention for participants.
• Performs on-the-job coaching and training at various sites; guides participants toward independent competitive employment.
