Job summary

EDU-AIDs in Youngstown, OH is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join a self-contained classroom for students with low incidence disabilities. This full-time role focuses on designing and implementing individualized instructional strategies and managing IEPs.

You will collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to monitor progress, document outcomes, and support academic, behavioral, and social goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students requiring specialized instruction.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to student needs.
