Job summary

Edu-Aids LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team.

You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct instruction, adapt curriculum, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students with disabilities.

The ideal candidate holds a valid state Special Education certificate and a Bachelor's degree; a Master’s degree and experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training as required.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
