• Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits from an accredited institution recognized by the Virginia Department of Education.
• Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment and Autism Spectrum Disorder training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning instruction sessions and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Supervise class in teacher's absence and provide small group instruction.
• Monitor student behavior and apply disciplinary measures when needed.
• Record developmental progress and collect data to inform instruction.
• Maintain a daily schedule and contribute to a safe, orderly learning environment.
