Job summary

Wake County Public School System is hiring an Instructional Assistant to support classroom teachers and help implement instructional activities across elementary, middle, or high school settings. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six semester hours of coursework in childhood education or two years of work experience in a childhood setting.
• Possession or attainment of CPI certification may be required depending on school needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support alongside teachers in classroom activities.
• Assist in planning and organizing instructional materials and procedures.
• Support individual students or small groups per teachers' directions.
• Participate in district staff development and professional growth.
