Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an Instructional Aide at A+ Children’s Academy in Columbus, Ohio. The role supports the Teacher with classroom activities, promotes positive student behaviors, and helps maintain a safe, orderly learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with lessons, preparing activities, clerical tasks, and coordinating with staff on events and student support. A strong candidate will have an Associate degree or equivalent coursework and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework or passing the Paraprofessional’s Exam required.
• Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.
• Ability to meet educational standards and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher with classroom activities and promote positive student behaviors.
• Oversee student safety and school climate under supervision.
• Support with parent relations, grade papers, and use classroom technology.
