Job summary

Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) is hiring an Early Head Start Infant & Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing classroom for infants and toddlers born to 3 years old. You will observe development, tailor activities, and partner with families to support each child's growth.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–6:00 PM, with a wage range of $21.94–$22.93 per hour and benefits as part of a full-day/full-year program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a CDA Infant/Toddler endorsement or an Initial EC Education Certificate.
• CDA with Infant/Toddler endorsement or Initial Stackable Certificate required/preferred.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with an emphasis on birth to 36 months is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, responsive classroom for birth to 3 with developmentally appropriate activities.
• Observe, track, and assess children's development and plan individualized learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children and families and communicate progress clearly.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment and support staff collaboration in a team setting.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
