Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide in-home physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will implement selected components of interventions and help patients regain function in their homes.

Qualified candidates hold a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, current state PTA license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Experience per state board requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license per state.
• Experience as required by state board to treat patients in their homes.
• Therapy skills consistent with generally accepted standards of practice according to the APTA.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment appropriate for patients with physical therapy needs.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Reliable Transportation with valid and current auto liability insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of the licensed physical therapist.
• PTAs implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
