Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• First Aid and CPR training required (may be obtained on the job).
• Must have a valid driver's license with a certificate to operate a school vehicle.
• Coaching experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple demands with professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport with staff and administrators.
• Successful completion of background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the assigned team.
• Determine athlete participation during practices and games, including squad level and playing time.
• Positively promote the athletic program within the schools and the community.
• Assist in the selection and evaluation of assistant coaches.
• Coordinate with the Activities Director in planning and scheduling practices and events.
• Supervise locker rooms and playing areas during team activities.
• Maintain equipment and annual inventories.
• Serve as a role model to students and uphold district policies.
