Job summary

Shriners Children’s in Honolulu, HI is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment and support patient care. You will perform custodial and housekeeping duties across patient care areas, dining spaces, and administration areas, and lead cleaning activities in assigned zones.

You will ensure proper use of cleaning tools, chemicals, PPE, and safe waste disposal, while communicating inventory needs and helping with setup/breakdown for meetings and events,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year health-care environmental services experience.
• Experience in custodial and housekeeping tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and housekeeping duties across hospital areas.
• Lead cleaning activities in assigned areas.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely and follow chemical handling procedures.
• Communicate inventory levels and requisition supplies.
• Assist with setup for meetings and events and transport items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and restrooms per procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols including PPE and waste disposal.
