Job summary

Shriners Children’s in Honolulu, HI is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to perform custodial and housekeeping tasks across the medical center, supporting infection control guidelines and safety.

You will lead cleaning in assigned areas, operate cleaning tools, and assist with waste handling, inventory, and daily facility upkeep. Flexible team player with at least one year in healthcare environmental services preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year health-care environmental services experience.
• Some experience in all phases of Environmental Services is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and appearance in patient zones, dining areas, and administrative buildings.
• Leads cleaning activities in assigned areas.
• Operates cleaning tools and manages chemical usage and storage.
• Reports defects and submits maintenance requests promptly.
• Communicates inventory levels for department supplies and materials.
• Handles waste following safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Performs routine floor care and cleans patient rooms and restrooms.
