Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full-time Environmental Services teammate to support routine cleaning across patient areas in a hospital setting. The role requires following a standard cleaning process, maintaining floors, fixtures, and equipment, and ensuring a sanitary environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
• Related experience preferred; on the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow a 7-step cleaning process during discharge cleaning.
• Maintain floors and carpet cleaning schedule as assigned.
• Clean fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment.
• Empty trash, wipe and relines containers, and operate compactors if necessary.
• Replenish disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Move and reset furnishings to original locations after completing the job.
