Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for home health in Oregon. You will perform treatments and provide exercise instruction to improve patient well-being under the plan of care defined by the supervising PT.

The role requires current Oregon PTA licensure, a valid driver's license, and weekend availability. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible full-time candidates, with full benefits, and a comprehensive compensation package based on productivity and visits.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of Oregon.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to a dependable vehicle
• Available to work a weekend rotation
• CPR certification preferred or able to obtain within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home care PT services and work under supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, and mobility training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within PT assistant scope
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of patient background
