Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Home Health Team in Collier and Charlotte Counties, Florida. This Per Diem (PRN) role offers flexible hours visiting patients in their homes, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

The position emphasizes high-quality patient care, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must hold a current Florida OTA license and have at least 6 months of OTA experience.

Qualifications

• Florida OTA license required.
• Minimum 6 months of OTA clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans including exercises, ADL training, and adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines to protect patients and staff.
