Job summary

Working Nurses Healthcare, LLC, is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team for in-home patient care across Florida. You will meet with multiple patients daily, assess needs, and craft customized therapy plans in collaboration with the health team.

A compassionate, patient-centric approach is essential for success in this role. The ideal OTA has strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases with professionalism over time.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered by the State.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
• Assist in evaluations and development of the rehabilitative plan of care and in periodic re-evaluation as required.
• Participate in the preparation of clinical and daily progress notes and prepare periodic summary reports.
• Together with the OTR, instruct the patient and family, assist in teaching them exercise programs.
• Write daily progress notes on patients, and submit same within 48 hours.
