Texans Can Academies is seeking a School Counselor to develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive guidance and counseling program for grades 9-12. The role focuses on individual planning, scheduling, and transcript audits, while supporting campus leadership with master schedule changes.

Responsibilities include scheduling accuracy, four-year planning, transcript evaluation, and delivering individual/group counseling.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in guidance counseling or equivalent.
• Valid Texas certification as a Counselor or eligible for Texas certification within 1 year of employment.
• At least 2 years of high school counseling experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Audit and manage student schedules with 100% accuracy.
• Develop and audit four-year plans/PGP.
• Audit transcripts and maintain accurate graduation data.
• Support campus leadership in schedule development and data management.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions and guidance curriculum.
• Assist with state testing rosters and implementation.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and data.
