The Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting interfaces that connect healthcare organizations

Qualifications

• Experience with NextGen Mirth Connect or another enterprise integration engine.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting HL7v2 interfaces including ADT, ORU, and MDM.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting HL7 FHIR, and C-CDA interfaces.
• Experience working with EHR/EMR systems and an understanding of the healthcare domain.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including investigation of complex interface issues.
• Experience with interface/documentation and transformation documentation.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong customer-facing communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and support interfaces for data exchange.
• Onboard new data sources and manage interface migrations as needed.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and support UHIN members and partners.
• Maintain interface code with version control and documentation.
• Document processes, data flows, and onboarding procedures.
• Configure HL7v2, C-CDA, and FHIR interfaces to the HIE environment.
• Use SQL to analyze data quality and performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful implementations.
