Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. seeks a Head Start Elementary Childhood Teacher to plan, implement, and maintain a nurturing early education experience for children and families in our Head Start program.

The role is full-time, 30 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm at our Cedar Rapids center. Qualifications include an AA in Early Childhood Education and a current State of Iowa Early Childhood Teacher License.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa ECT license required.
• AA in Early Childhood Education required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain a nurturing early childhood educational experience for participating children and families.
• Oversee daily implementation of Head Start standards in classroom operations.
