Job summary

Pueblo of San Felipe is seeking a Bus Driver Supervisor to ensure safe operations of Head Start transportation. You will manage maintenance, licensing, staff CDL qualifications, and adherence to federal/state transit rules.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, a current school bus CDL, and at least 2 years of related experience. You will coordinate training, inspections, and safety programs for staff and students.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have Current CDL with school bus endorsement.
• 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Mandated reporter of child abuse and neglect.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Head Start Transportation Standards 1310.1–1310.23 and update as needed.
• Develop and implement Annual Transportation Service Plan for bus maintenance and safety.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records, CDL licenses, and staff certifications.
