Job summary

Empire Portfolio Group seeks an Orangetheory Fitness Coach to lead scientifically designed workouts for groups, energize members, and drive engagement across sessions. You’ll manage time, correct form, and motivate up to 45 clients per class to achieve endurance, strength, and power goals.

You’ll join a supportive team that emphasizes growth, mentorship, and ongoing development, with opportunities to work across multiple locations within the network and grow into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Must hold current fitness certification from approved education company.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in an exercise related field preferred.
• CPR/AED certification.
• 1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and motivate members through demonstrating exercises and proper techniques of pre-defined workouts.
• Clearly demonstrate and explain exercises, ensuring participants understand the correct form and technique.
• Manage class dynamics and foster a sense of community and teamwork among participants.
• Understand the science behind the Orangetheory Fitness workouts, specifically heart-rate-interval training.
• Ensure safety and prevent injuries by monitoring movements and correcting form.
• Engage with members to maintain consistent outreach and participation.
