Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition, Inc. is seeking a Grants Accountant to manage grant portfolios, ensure regulatory compliance, and support budgets and financial reporting.

This role provides fiscal support to directors, administrators, and staff, developing, monitoring, and forecasting budgets to sustain grant funding. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5 years directly relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Responsibilities

• Works closely with grant and contract team to provide financial guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinates with program managers to ensure proper and timely expenditure of general, grant and contract funds.
• Maintains accurate financial records for grant-funded and contract-funded programs and projects, including tracking contracts expenditures, revenues, and budget allocations.
• Monitors spending patterns and budget utilization to ensure alignment with grant objectives and agency guidelines.
• Performs general accounting functions such as posting journal entries, reclassing expenses, allocating costs, and supporting month-end close reconciliations.
• Performs monitoring and analysis, budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting for grants.
• Attends grant-related trainings and communicates requirements effectively.
