Job summary

Atlanta Beltline, Inc. is seeking a GIS & Data Analytics Manager to transform spatial and organizational data into actionable insights. The role focuses on enterprise GIS, data quality, and dashboards to inform planning and operations. Collaboration across departments will advance evidence-based decision-making and transparency.

The right candidate will lead automated workflows, manage complex datasets, and leverage Python, R, SQL, and modern BI tools to support organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in GIS, spatial analytics, BI, or related field.
• Experience with enterprise GIS environments.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Strong SQL querying and relational databases experience.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or ArcGIS Dashboards.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and convey findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise GIS datasets, geodatabases, and metadata.
• Develop and enforce GIS standards, templates, and data governance.
• Perform advanced spatial analyses to support planning and housing initiatives.
• Coordinate external vendors and project timelines with QA oversight.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop automated workflows for data collection and reporting.
• Design and maintain enterprise dashboards and data products.
• Partner with departments to translate needs into analytical approaches.
