Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience tutoring/teaching junior and senior high school students.
• Ability to travel to multiple work sites, work flexible schedule including evenings and Saturday.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains effective relationships between GEAR UP and staff, faculty and administration of the host school and community partners.
• Manages GEAR UP program operations and activities with students and parents.
• Assesses the achievements of the GEAR UP grant objectives and records all metrics and goals of the grant.
• Communicates with parents/guardians on a regular basis to ensure involvement in academic performance and participation in GEAR UP activities.
