Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Field Clinical Specialist for the Circulatory Restoration business located in Oregon. This role will provide case support to physicians and contribute to pre-market and post-market activities for the Shockwave Medical IVL technology.

As part of the field team, you will train staff, manage investigators, and ensure timely data collection for clinical programs. The position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, nursing or related field.
• 2+ years' experience supporting interventional or surgical procedures in a hospital setting OR 1 year of industry life sciences/sales support.
• Working knowledge of clinical research, GCP and regulatory guidelines for clinical trials.
• History of collaboration with regulatory agencies through clinical studies and market releases.
• Product knowledge including vigilance and medical device reporting.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer skills (MS Office) and budgeting knowledge.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician and hospital staff training; cover procedures to ensure safe use of medical devices.
• Meet internal/external stakeholders with urgency and drive.
• Present clinical study materials per investigational plans to support safe use of devices.
• Manage study investigators and maintain relationships with medical advisors and clinical leaders.
• Partner with clinical research colleagues to meet field needs, including site retraining and data collection.
• Handle administrative duties including travel planning and budgets for the territory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
