Job summary

CAMBA seeks a Family Support Specialist in Brooklyn to provide home-based, family-centered support over long-term engagement. You’ll visit families, assess needs, refer to community resources, and document progress in participant files.

The role requires strong communication and writing skills, knowledge of child development, and the ability to build trusting relationships in culturally diverse settings. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; bilingual English and Haitian Creole

• Initiate and maintain regular, long-term contact with families, primarily in-home visits
• Provide family-centered, strength-based support to promote wellbeing
• Assess needs, develop service plans with client input, and provide referrals
• Create and maintain participant files and support required reporting
