Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center seeks a Family Physician to provide comprehensive primary medical care with emphasis on prevention and health promotion. This on-site role reports to the Chief Medical Officer in a Medical Department setting.

The position requires an MD/DO with Family Practice residency, an active Oregon license, DEA, and BLS. Experience with underserved populations is preferred. Expect teamwork, documentation accuracy, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (MD/DO) from an accredited school of medicine.
• Completion of Family Practice Residency with related experience preferred.
• Active license to practice medicine in Oregon; DEA license; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assessments and treatments for physical and mental health.
• Orders and interprets labs and imaging.
• Refers patients to specialists as needed.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals and treatments.
• Performs minor procedures as qualified.
• Maintains documentation per coding standards.
• Collaborates with clinical staff and participates in team huddles.
• Participates in quality improvement workflows.
• Occasional travel or coverage at other locations as needed.
