Qualifications

• Knowledge of and enthusiasm to work with ESOL students.
• Ability to build healthy relationships with students, staff, families.
• Ability to provide instruction meeting diverse student needs.
• Ability to implement multiple teaching methods (co-teaching, small groups, differentiation).
• Knowledge of Iowa Teaching Standards.
• Knowledge of special education processes (Section 504 and MTSS).

Responsibilities

• Provide ESOL instruction as a long-term substitute.
