Job summary

Community Ambulance Bibb County is seeking an EMT to join a mission-driven, non-profit system. You will perform initial patient assessments, provide treatments within the Georgia scope of practice, and ensure safe transport to receiving facilities.

The role requires a GA EMT license, a high school diploma, and reliable driving records; candidates must be prepared for disaster response and operate within team settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current licensure as a Georgia EMT is required.
• Minimum 2 years as a licensed driver with a clear MVR.

Responsibilities

• Arrive for work at the designated station and be prepared for the shift.
• Report to ambulance, ensure stock and fuel, and respond to calls.
• Maintain two-way communication with CMED and provide patient care within scope.
• Complete documentation prior to end of shift and keep ambulance ready for next shift.
• Comply with Georgia EMS rules and therapy protocols.
