Oakdale Elementary in Charlotte, NC is seeking a qualified elementary school teacher for the 2nd grade as an end-of-year position. The role involves planning lessons, delivering instruction, and assessing student progress in alignment with North Carolina standards.

You will maintain classroom routines, communicate with families, participate in PLCs, and support diverse learners including students with IEPs and ELLs.

Formación

• Valid NC Teaching certification or eligible for NC Teaching certification in assigned area.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and implement a program of study in the assigned content area that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of assigned students.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Create a classroom environment that provides for student engagement in the learning process and enables students to achieve learning objectives.
• Prepare for classes assigned, and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Diagnose the learning challenges of students on a regular basis and maintain accurate records as required.
