Qualifications

• Hold a New Jersey instructional certificate with elementary education endorsement and other appropriate endorsement(s).
• Have excellent experience in teaching and working with children.
• Demonstrate knowledge of child growth, development, instructional strategies, classroom management, assessment.

Responsibilities

• Establish high standards for student academic performance and behavior.
• Plan and implement sequential learning experiences using data to drive instruction.
• Coordinate instruction with specialists to reinforce learning and achievement.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues and maintain a professional classroom climate.
• Monitor pacing and provide effective lesson plans in the approved format.
• Ensure students meet state standards across core content areas.
• Supervise field trips and organize learning materials and resources.
• Maintain records and provide progress feedback to parents and students.
