Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with proper teaching licensure required.
• Experience with students with special needs preferred.
• Criminal background check required; valid Colorado teaching license with endorsements; CPI within 3 months; CPR/First Aid encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Instruct academic functional classes in Integrated Services/Special Education per curriculum and standards.
• Develop IEP goals, objectives, and transition plans; schedule staff and meetings per IEPs.
• Supervise and coordinate paraprofessionals; monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
• Communicate progress with families and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and outside agencies.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.
