Job summary

Milaca Public Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to support students under the direction of teachers, case managers, or principals. The role involves living skills support, concept review, and individualized assistance aligned to programs and student needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and may possess an Associate's Degree or 60 college credits. Experience in education or childcare is preferred, with flexibility to work in various settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 year Associate's Degree / 60 college credits / MN Paraprofessional requirements.
• Experience in child development, education, or childcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and life skills support.
• Reinforces concepts one-on-one/small groups as directed.
• Provides tutoring aligned to IEP goals and goals of supervision staff.
• Supervises students to ensure safety in classrooms, hallways, and on playgrounds.
• Assists with materials, data collection, and communications.
• Supports daily living skills and manages behavioral challenges.
