Job summary

Orenco Systems, Inc. in Oregon seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at two sites—Sutherlin and Roseburg.

You will drive regulatory compliance and safety initiatives to protect people and the environment. You will develop training, perform risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations while collaborating with operations to foster a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional EHS experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to create and deliver safety training programs.
• Strong initiative with the ability to influence, coach, and facilitate change across diverse teams.
• Capable of working independently with limited direction while maintaining cross-functional partnerships.
• Excellent organizational habits with consistent follow-through.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive safety culture across two locations.
• Lead site health and safety processes, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Develop, implement, and lead safety, compliance, and training programs.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance assessments; drive corrective actions.
• Provide EHS performance reporting and data analysis to leadership.
• Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory compliance.
• Support environmental compliance programs for Oregon state regulations and federal mandates.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses (PDCA, Fishbone, 5-Why).
• Oversee hazardous waste streams, waste profiling, and universal waste management.
