Job summary

PetroCard, Inc. seeks a Manager of Health, Safety & Environmental to support the HSE Director in implementing health, safety, and environmental functions across Salem, OR, and Oregon operations.

The role leads a safety culture, collaborates with site supervisors and fleet managers, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and DOT programs where needed. The position involves field work, audits, and reporting, with a focus on safety and environmental compliance programs, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, Business, or Science with at least 2 years of HSE field experience or equivalent.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or OHST are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage HSE compliance for operations; maintain, develop, implement, and promote HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance, risk assessments, policies, training, and recordkeeping.
• Supervise HSE-related monitoring for noise, toxic exposures, heat and cold stress, and safe work practices.
• Report, investigate, and address HSE concerns, incidents, and issues; initiate stop-work when immediate danger exists.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate emergency response.
• Plan, develop, and implement training to promote health and safety and hazard control.
