Qualifications

• Valid MN Driver’s License.
• Must be Highly Qualified within 60 days or have paraprofessional credentials.
• PCA certification within 60 days.
• Intervener training preferred.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to diverse needs.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
• Physical ability for school duties.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional activities and prepare classroom materials.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to promote growth.
• Observe safety and well-being in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, buses, etc.
• Implement accommodations or behavior plans for students with needs.
• Model positive behavior and inclusivity.
• Collect and maintain student progress data as directed.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
• Respond to student needs and emergencies per district protocols.
• Attend CPI and district-mandated trainings.
