Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of study at a higher education institution or an associate degree to meet Highly Qualified.
• Passing score on ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment; district pays the assessment.

Responsibilities

• Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students.
• Assist with social-emotional learning and behavior support for individual students.
• Supervise students in large and small groups and during activities.
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
• Assist in small group assessments and data management related to reading and math.
• Follow classroom protocols and perform related duties as assigned.
