Job summary

Criterion Child Enrichment, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks dedicated early intervention staff to deliver home-based and center services for birth to 3-year-olds with developmental delays or at risk.

You will work with families using a parent coaching model and collaborate with a trans-disciplinary team to support child growth across the catchment area. The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, practicum hours, and strong computer/Microsoft 365 skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in infants and toddlers, early childhood education, special education or child studies.
• 300 hours of practicum or work experience with children under five years of age.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
• Bilingual/Bicultural candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

Education

Bachelor's degree in infants and toddlers / early childhood education / special education / child studies

300 hours practicum or work with under-five
