Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Teacher to create engaging activities, communicate progress with parents, and maintain a safe classroom across centers. You may support multiple age groups as needed in nearby locations, in person at our centers.

We value experience in early education, DAP knowledge, and a commitment to growth; this role includes access to education cost support and opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or a related degree is preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred (6 months REQUIRED).
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.
