Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or enrollment required.
• Active enrollment toward an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with specified credit hours.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing an instructional program that meets the developmental needs of children.
• Assist in home visits and parent-teacher conferences.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Promote Pre-K education and assist in recruitment of Pre-K students.
• Plan and participate in parent meetings and family events (Literacy Night, Family Math Night, Science Night).
• Supervise children in classroom and during off-site activities.
