Job summary

Peak Performers in Dallas, TX is seeking a License & Permit Specialist to review, process, and issue driver licenses and permits while delivering essential customer support.

You'll handle exams, fees, and forms, verify compliance, and guide applicants through steps to regain eligibility. The role requires a Texas driver's license and strong customer-service skills, with an onsite, full-time engagement through Aug 31, 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a high-volume, public-facing customer service role.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable working on your feet outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the public in person and answer questions about driver licenses, IDs, and related topics.
• Screen applicants and administer written, oral, and visual examinations.
• Collect fees, issue receipts, and prepare license/permit applications.
• Review and approve applications in accordance with policies and codes.
• Enter information and fees into designated computer systems.
• Operate digital imaging equipment for portraits, thumbprints, and signatures.
• Advise on suspensions, cancellations, or revocations of driving privileges.
• Inspect vehicles for safety before road tests and verify registrations.
